The map control window

Here you have the basic controls to the information displayed in the map window. Several buttons have key shortcuts for faster access (e.g. keypad arrows to scroll around).

The map display window

This window corresponds to the scanner pane in Stars!, what you see (planets and fleets) is controlled in many different ways....
Here you have the mineral concentrations, with fleets removed to avoid cluttering the display.

Here you have a simpler planetary display, with fleets all of the same size but painted with the owner's color.
